Job Description:
The Classroom Aide serves under the direction of the Education Supervisor as a second or third adult staff member in the classroom to assist with supervising children ages 3 to 5.
Supports teachers with class routines, activities, and active supervision.
This position may be regularly scheduled, serve as a substitute, or be on-call, depending on needs.
This position will be for aides/substitutes in Iron and Washington County.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Acts as a Teacher Aide in the classroom including supervising and interacting with children during circle time, singing, transitions, reading stories, and participating with children in learning centers (30%)
Aide assists the teachers with active supervision including keeping children safe, healthy, and well-supervised in the classroom and on the playground (25%)
Assist teachers with behavior management.
Model positive classroom management and promote respect for all children and adults (20%)
Model appropriate hand washing, tooth brushing, and table manners for the children.
Assist with cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing toys, floors, and other common areas and surfaces in the classroom (20%)
Other duties as assigned by supervisor (5%)
Education and Experience Requirements:
