*Responsibilities and Duties* We are growing quickly and need help maintaining the retail storefront.
That includes helping customers as they come into the store as well as running Taffyology classes for groups and parties (hands-on taffy-making classes.

Nothing excites you more than helping others grow, celebrating their successes, doing whatever it takes to get stuff done, brightening people’s days, and TREATING people with meaningful stuff.
Outside of that, we envision you doing everything possible to make and keep the storefront running.
This would include normal retail sales clerk items (assisting shoppers, stocking inventory, stocking shelves, prepping taffy class stations, keeping the storefront clean, scheduling (both employees and guests), managing the cash register, managing the electronic sign boards, answering the phone, and helping wherever help is needed.
The things that drive you crazy: gossip, fault finding, “going through the motions”, not speaking up, sending out orders incorrectly, not finishing tasks, and exchanging your time for a paycheck.
You want to be part of something meaningful and enjoyable.
An average day will primarily consist of delighting guests.
You'll help teach them as they pick their perfect assortment of over 90 flavors.
Or you'll run classes where you help them make their very own taffy with custom colors, designs, unique mix-ins, and so on.
You want to progress as a person and make a meaningful contribution to Taffy Shop.

*Qualifications and Skills* *Must Haves*: --Retail Experience and a bubbly/outgoing/friendly attitude --Belief in the Taffy Shop Ideals --Ability to wear multiple hats.

but be happy/content taking care of primarily the storefront --Be passionate about treating others --Basic computer skills like email, chat, internet, etc.
--Ability to communicate fluently in both written and spoken forms --Availability to work on-site (St George) during normal business hours.
*The storefront hours are as follows:* Monday-Friday 10am-7:30pm Saturdays 11am-6:00pm Sundays- Closed *\*\*This position is to cover 2pm-7:30pm 4 weekdays per week (you choose your day off during the week) and every Saturday from 11-6:00pm.

We need to become much more efficient to manage our growth and we need complete buy-in to daily improvements.
--Experience in helping others.
Examples would be parenting, service assignments, coaching, teaching, volunteering, mentoring, etc.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $15.
