Preschool Teacher

*Overview:* We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Preschool Teacher to join our team.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about early childhood education, fostering a positive learning environment, and aiding in the developmental growth of young children.
One of our staff will be leaving in end o f March, we are looking for a replacement teacher.
This person would be expected to jump in and follow lesson plans that align with our curriculum.
Hours MWF 8:30 am,-3:30 pm, T/TR 8:30 am-2:45 pm other hours are available.
*Responsibilities:* * *Create Engaging Learning Environments:* Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that encourage curiosity, creativity, and early academic readiness.
* *Facilitate Play-Based Learning:* Utilize play-based methods to make learning enjoyable and capture the interest of young minds.
Foster a love for exploration and discovery through hands-on activities.
* *Support Social and Emotional Development:* Assist children in developing basic social skills, emotional intelligence, and a sense of community.
Encourage independence and self-confidence in each child.
* *Implement Curriculum:* Follow and adapt curriculum guidelines to meet the developmental needs of preschool-aged children.
Integrate a variety of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles.
* *Conduct Assessments:* Evaluate and track the progress of each child's cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Provide feedback to parents and caregivers on their child's achievements and areas for improvement.
* *Collaborate with Team:* Work collaboratively with other preschool teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment.
Participate in team meetings, workshops, and professional development opportunities.
*Requirements:* * Eduction in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
* Prior experience working with preschool-aged children.
* Strong understanding of child development principles.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience, creativity, and a genuine passion for working with young children.
