Job Summary:
Dive into a rewarding fitness role as an AquaFit, AquaDance, or AquaFlex Instructor at Summit Athletic Club! We are looking for a passionate individual to lead our refreshing and invigorating water aerobics classes.
Your role will be to sculpt bodies with water weights, provide a low-impact, high-results workout, and create a positive, beginner-friendly environment.
These classes will be taught for an hour in our outdoor pool.
AquaFit and AquaDance will be taught in the shallow end, and AquaFlex will be taught in the deep end.

Responsibilities & Benefits:
Conduct energizing Aqua Classes using water weights for a sculpting workout.
Improve cardiovascular health, enhance muscular endurance, and increase flexibility in a low-impact setting.
AquaFit will be a low impact, shallow water workout using styrofoam barbells.
AquaDance will be a Zumba-inspired, shallow water workout.
AquaFlex will use pool noodles and styrofoam barbells for toning exercises in deep water.
Develop lesson plans and organize class activities to ensure progress.
Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages participation and builds confidence.
Maintain a record of attendance and get to know your class attendees.
Create a fun, clean, and inviting playlist for your classes.
Bluetooth speaker is supplied.
Keep up-to-date with the latest teaching methods, techniques, and water safety practices.
Motivate participants to achieve their fitness goals with enthusiasm and encouragement.
Communicate effectively with class attendees, ensuring a supportive and inclusive atmosphere.
Ensure a safe and enjoyable class environment.

Requirements:
Valid certification in group fitness instruction or aqua fitness instruction preferred.
Previous experience leading water aerobics or similar fitness classes preferred.
Excellent communication and motivational skills.
Ability to work with individuals of different ages and skill levels.
Patience, enthusiasm, and the ability to motivate and inspire participants.
