6th and 7th grade Math and Science Teacher

Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Mathematics and Science Teacher to join our team.
As a Middle School Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our students and fostering their love for mathematics.

Duties: - Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum - Teach various mathematical and science standards (USBE) - Utilize effective teaching strategies to promote student understanding and critical thinking skills - Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration - Assess student progress through assignments, exams, and projects - Provide individualized support and guidance to students as needed - Incorporate technology and learning tools into lessons to enhance student engagement - Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve curriculum materials - Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and performance Experience: - Utah Teaching License - Prior experience teaching mathematics at the secondary level is highly desirable - Strong knowledge of mathematics concepts and principles - Familiarity with curriculum development and instructional strategies - Proficiency in using learning technology and software applications related to mathematics education - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to create a positive learning environment for students of diverse backgrounds At our school, we offer competitive compensation packages, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
