With the opening of the Science Film Festival (SFF) in Indonesia, Rolls-Royce is delighted to continue its partnership with Goethe-Institut e.V. for this significant STEM-focused initiative for the third consecutive year.
Organised across six countries in Southeast Asia: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines, the festival is a fantastic showcase of outstanding international films that present scientific advances and issues in a meaningful way to a young audience, accompanied by interactive workshops and other educational activities.
The theme of this year’s festival, Net Zero and the Circular Economy, resonates deeply with our commitment to #sustainability and #innovation.
Bicky Bhangu, President - South East Asia, #RollsRoyce says, “We firmly believe that nurturing a diverse pool of local talent in STEM is crucial for addressing the opportunities and challenges that arise as the region transitions to a more sustainable future. Through this partnership, we hope to spark conversations relating to science, technology and sustainability to inspire children and youths to pursue innovative solutions that contribute to a greener world.”
Watch out for highlights from the festival over the coming weeks.
