This week, Rolls-Royce was delighted to attend the opening ceremony of the Science Film Festival (SFF) in Malaysia, which was attended by over 150 secondary school students from a range of learning institutions.   Through an informative presentation by our colleague Alastair Sim, the students were shown the types of exciting technologies we are developing, including pushing the limits of physics through our gas turbine and the role of our Small Modular Reactor in Rolls-Royce’s vision for a Net Zero future.  Rolls-Royce remains committed to inspiring young people to pursue a career in STEM and it was deeply encouraging to interact with these talented students, demonstrating the importance of passion and personality to creating positive impact.  Rolls-Royce is proud to partner with the Science Film Festival and help support the innovators of tomorrow.  #ScienceFilmFestival #NetZero #CircularEconomy

With the opening of the Science Film Festival (SFF) in Indonesia, Rolls-Royce is delighted to continue its partnership with Goethe-Institut e.V. for this significant STEM-focused initiative for the third consecutive year. Organised across six countries in Southeast Asia: Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines, the festival is a fantastic showcase of outstanding international films that present scientific advances and issues in a meaningful way to a young audience, accompanied by interactive workshops and other educational activities.
