Excited to share how Google is collaborating with public and private healthcare partners to support Singapore's Healthier SG initiative, which aims to prevent chronic diseases before they become serious problems. We're doing this by collaborating with key partners on three impactful programs: HealthTrack SG: This pilot program, developed with the Health Promotion Board, ConnectedLife Health, and Fullerton Health, combines clinical data with lifestyle and activity metrics to provide individuals and their doctors with a comprehensive view of their health. This enables personalized care plans and more effective consultations, empowering individuals to manage their health proactively. DigiCoach: Google supports this program by Health2Sync 智抗糖 and Abbott which helps people with Type 2 diabetes manage their condition through informed lifestyle choices and personalized guidance. Research: In collaboration with ConnectedLife Health, Google is supporting a research project led by Alexandra Hospital, Singapore and National University Polyclinics to evaluate how wearables and digital coaching can encourage healthier habits and improve chronic disease management. Physical well-being in Singapore reached its highest level since 2019, with 34% reporting good health, according to a 2024 Cigna Healthcare survey.  The survey also found that chronic conditions in Singapore were lower than the global average with only 45% having at least one chronic condition, compared to 56% globally. Moreover, Singaporeans reached their lowest stress level in seven years. About 79% reported feeling stressed whilst 36% said their mental health was doing good compared to 32% last year. Men reported higher vitality than women with male respondents more likely to prioritise physical health. From content creation to data analysis, AI is transforming the way we work in the APAC region.   A recent survey reported that 73% of APAC workers have improved their workflows since using software applications enhanced with AI. There's no doubt that GenAI is on the agenda for many organizations, as found in our recent global survey, but what does it mean to successfully deploy and benefit from such new tech? I shared some perspectives with iTNews Asia recently on how real-time data vastly improves the accuracy and reliability of AI models - in turn, improving customer experiences and business productivity.
