Fake Out-of-Home (FOOH) ads are slowly becoming a trend among brands. What are the regulations around them in Singapore? Chloe Neo, CEO, Omnicom Media Group Singapore said taking a leaf from sponsored content and paid creator engagement, the advertising industry could consider signposting FOOH ads to clearly state that they are virtual creations and provide proper credit to the real estate and/or assets featured. Nonetheless, while the advertising industry awaits new regulations, the marketing community needs to respect intellectual property, ownership, and originality, Chloe said. After 25yrs being in market, it was time for a brand refresh. In fact, it was time for brand consolidation for WorkPac, as they'd become a house of brands due to their expansion over the years. We conducted 3 x brand scan deep dive workshops: 1) Engine Room leaders on Eastern Seaboard 2) Engine Room leaders on Western Seaboard 3) Executive team ... along with one-on-one interviews with company founders. The 'branded house' strategy was defined and a new brand identity was developed that could integrate through the line, whilst being tailored with images and messaging relevant to the vertical pillars the business specialised in.
