Dallas Hassan: Rising from Rock Bottom Dallas Hassan’s story doesn’t start with luxury condos or million-dollar commissions—it starts with a hard truth: life can fall apart in an instant. In 2005, fresh out of national service, Dallas hit rock bottom. His father’s business collapsed, dragging the family into financial ruin. The home he grew up in? Gone, lost to bad credit. At just 21, he stood in the rubble of his family’s stability. “We were broke,” Dallas says. “Losing a home doesn’t just break your finances—it breaks your spirit.” But one idea kept him going. A book—Rich Dad Poor Dad—planted a seed. It wasn’t just about money; it was about control over his future and family’s future. That dream of owning property felt impossible, but it never left him. From Survival to a Calling With no money and no clear path, Dallas could have given up. Instead, he asked: What can I do with what I have? He had a sharp mind for numbers and an understanding of financial fragility. Real estate wasn’t just about buying homes—it was about helping others avoid the pain his family had faced. “I couldn’t start by building my own empire,” he admits. “So, I started by helping others build theirs.” Dallas began creating financial roadmaps for clients, turning dreams into plans. “I don’t just sell properties,” he says. “I sell hope. Even when you feel like you’ve hit rock bottom, there’s a way up.” The Moment It All Clicked For Dallas, the turning point wasn’t a sale or commission—it was realising his struggles had made him more than an agent—they had made him a lifeline. “I’ve been at rock bottom,” he says. “I know what it’s like to lose everything. That’s why I fight so hard for my clients. I don’t just see their situation—I feel it. Because I’ve lived it.” One family stands out. Midway through their transaction, the father passed away suddenly, leaving behind a grieving mother and son. The deal wasn’t just in limbo—their lives were. “It wasn’t about closing the deal anymore,” Dallas recalls. “It was about making sure they had a future.” In the end, they had more than a home—they had a fresh start. “When they stood in their new living room, the relief in their eyes, I realised this job is bigger than property,” he says. “It’s about being there for people when the world falls apart.” The Raw Truth Behind the Success Dallas doesn’t shy away from his past because it fuels him. His early years in real estate were tough—long days, rejections, and doubts. But every challenge only deepened his commitment. “I didn’t get into real estate to get rich,” he says. “I did it to make sure no one else felt as helpless as I did.” Today, Dallas is more than a realtor; he’s a lifeline for families facing the same struggles he once did. While his journey from rock bottom to leader is inspiring, he’ll be the first to tell you it’s not about him. “It’s about the people I get to help every day,” he says. “The ones building their futures, one step at a time.”

As part of our corporate social responsibility efforts, we recently organised a community service day at Gardens by the Bay, focusing on promoting health and well-being among seniors. The event was graced by Ms. Indranee Rajah, Minister, Prime Minister's Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development, and held in collaboration with the Health Promotion Board. Through guided exercise sessions, we encouraged participants to adopt healthier lifestyles while fostering connections within the community and encouraged everyone to embrace a healthier lifestyle with the Health365 app. We are proud to champion initiatives like H.U.N.C.L.E—Healthy Uncles who Network, drink Coffee, Learn, and Exercise—as we continue to make a positive impact on the lives of those we serve. Together, we are building a healthier, more connected future.
