People I meet for the first time always ask me -what sets you and Mad About Marketing Consulting apart from the multitude of marketing agencies out there, to which I would answer wryly that I'm not an agency. I'm a consultancy. Then they would ask me - "does that mean you cannot implement?", which I would answer - "yes I can. I do both, just as your in-house marketing team would". It seems unfathomable to them, especially in the fractional world of marketers who are either "too senior to execute" or "too junior to advise".
