Nearly 300 driver- and delivery-partners joined us to strengthen their cybersecurity knowledge in our first-ever Anti-Scam Workshop for our driver-and delivery-partners in Singapore! 🇸🇬 In partnership with IMDA, in support of the national Digital for Life movement, the two-day workshop on 2-3 September covered the essential tips for partners to identify cyber scams and stay safe online. We also had the pleasure of hosting Rahayu Mahzam, Minister of State for the Ministry of Digital Development and Information and the Ministry of Health at the event, where our Chief Information Security Officer Nathaniel Callens and Managing Director for Singapore Wee Tang Yee shared more about Grab’s initiatives to improve cybersecurity within our platform and the initiatives we have to help our partners safeguard themselves. The team also highlighted the Digital Skills for Life Guidebook, published by IMDA, which educates the public—including senior citizens—on how to use digital tools for their transport needs, such as booking a Grab ride. We just wrapped up an enriching session at the HPAIR Asia Conference 2024 held at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand. 🌏✨ In alignment with Harvard Project for Asian and International Relations (HPAIR) and Chulalongkorn University's joint vision, the event centred around the empowering theme of "Reimagining Connectivity: Building Bridges in a Globalised Society.” Our Thailand's Managing Director, Worachat L., was invited to speak and share Grab's mission of fostering sustainability and innovation in Southeast Asia. It was a privilege interacting with young professionals from a range of Asian countries during the Q&A session, including Thailand, Vietnam, India, the Philippines, and beyond.
