🎉 Celebrating 10 Years of NHIC: A Decade of Driving Clinical Innovation Forward! 🎉 Congratulations to the National Health Innovation Centre (NHIC) for an amazing 10 years of supporting the clinical adoption of innovations! Without the funding support, we would not have been able to work on commercializing the multiple inventions that started as concepts to solve clinical needs. We are proud to see the Automated Visual Acuity Test (AVAT) device highlighted as a project that has successfully gone from product development to regulatory approval and clinical implementation! Looking forward to the great work by the NHIC team (Henry HO, Pauline Erica Tay, Esther Lee Ph.D., Ee Lim TAN, Smitha Velayil Sunildeep)! #HealthcareInnovation #MedTech #AutomatedScreening #VisualAcuity #PatientCare #Milestone #DigitalLifeLine

Issues with your vision 👀? The o̶p̶h̶t̶h̶a̶l̶m̶o̶l̶o̶g̶i̶s̶t̶ optometrist will see you now ⏱️ 🌟 Huge congratulations to Dr Rubin Yong, our clinical collaborator for winning GOLD 🏆 for the best oral presentation at the International Allied Health Conference 2024! 🌟 ✅ In his award-winning talk, Dr Rubin Yong emphasized the crucial role of optometrists in leading community eye screening services, using a suite of innovative vision screening tools designed to be used with minimal training. ✅ His findings highlight how optometrist-led models can offer a patient-centred 🥰 and cost-effective approach 💲 to managing chronic eye conditions, especially for Singapore’s rapidly ageing population. 👴👵 We’re incredibly proud to work with the Ophthalmology Department at the National University Hospital, headed by Prof Victor Koh to commercialize these innovative devices, making high-quality vision screening more accessible without straining essential manpower in tertiary eye clinics. Together, we're paving the way for a future where quality eye care is within everyone’s reach! 👏 We have the technology 👨💻, the track record 💪🏆, and the vision to stop millions from losing their sight. If you believe in a future where vision screening is accessible to everyone, everywhere, then let’s work together to make that happen. 💪 🤝 Speak to us today 👉 Eddie Chng, Weijie Poh, PhD, Muhammad Azri Bin Razali #CommunityEyeCare #HealthcareInnovation #DigitalLifeLine #VisionForAll

👀 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝘂𝗹𝗮𝗿 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸𝘂𝗽𝘀 𝗠𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲 𝗘𝘆𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 A recent forum post highlighted the critical need to include vision screening as part of regular health check-ups. Many of us take our eyesight for granted, but early detection of issues like cataracts, glaucoma, and even vision loss can drastically improve outcomes. At Digital Life Line, this insight resonates deeply with our mission. We're committed to developing accurate, easy-to-use eye testing devices that can be deployed in community settings—empowering healthcare providers to catch potential vision issues before they become serious problems. We believe that accessible and reliable diagnostics are key to healthier communities, and that includes the health of our eyes. Stay tuned as we continue to innovate in this space! #HealthInnovation #VisionCare #CommunityHealth #EarlyDetection #EyeCare

Shaping the Future of Predictive, Personalised *VISION* Healthcare 👀 Thanks to the kind invitation from the National Health Innovation Centre (NHIC), we demonstrated our Automated Visual Acuity Test (AVAT) device to 500+ local and international healthcare experts, showcasing the latest upgrades to enhance the speed ⚡️ and useability 👌 of the device to assess visual acuity with minimal supervision accurately 🎯. As a bonus, Prof Poh-Kam Wong dropped by to try out another innovation from the NUHS, NUS community! NHIC is a key supporter 🤝 of AVAT in the early development stages, without which we would not have achieved rapid regulatory and commercialisation progress. It was great to interact with other NHIC-funded innovations that have since led to spinoffs Sarah ho AGEM Bio Pte. Ltd. and licensing, and we cannot wait to see what is in store for David Chen and Rubin Yong! 🎉🎉 Commercialising deep-tech innovations is often a marathon, so we are thankful for the ecosystem enablers that make it possible to refine and provide a platform for key clinical adoption. Xin chào! This week, our team is in Hanoi to meet eye centres and accepted the invitation to deploy our AVAT device and AI retinal image solution for patients in the clinic and community screening initiatives. In many parts of Vietnam, there is a shortage of qualified pediatric eye-care professionals, which limits access to high-quality vision screening for young children and the elderly. We are committed to addressing this via the widespread deployment of our portable devices which have been extensively validated and are designed to be used with minimal supervision. These act as a powerful tech multiplier to boost the community outreach of eye centres, thereby allowing them to screen more individuals without incurring large manpower and infrastructure costs. Looking forward to building on these partnerships to offer more quality vision screening to Vietnam!

Thanks to the Canadian International School in Singapore for supporting accessible eye testing for all school children! Routine vision screening is a key strategy in early myopia detection and intervention. However, international schools in Singapore are not included in the annual school-based vision screening under the National Myopia Prevention Programme. Hence, we were glad to be invited to share about the Automated Visual Acuity Test (AVAT) device with parents and teachers, including hands-on experience! Hearing about the positive feedback and parental concerns about uncorrected myopia is a positive validation of our work, and we look forward to working with more international schools in Singapore to provide accessible, high-quality vision screening! #communityvisionscreening #automatedeyetesting Eddie Chng Muhammad Azri Bin Razali

"Eyesight, once lost, is often irreversible. We must ensure accessible, accurate vision screening for early detection and treatment of eye diseases." - our company's mission was summed up succinctly by an attendee who approached our booth after the talks. Heartfelt thanks to the HealthTEC.SG-Singapore Health Technologies Consortium team for the invitation to present at the Innovators Pitch Fest 2024 alongside old and new friends in the healthtech innovation ecosystem (NDR Medical Technology Pte Ltd, PharLyfe+ Pte Ltd, SG.Diagnostics, NalaGenetics, StratifiCare™ Pte. Ltd., QuantumTX Pte Ltd)! 🚀 Chief Scientist, Weijie, shared our pipeline of hardware+software devices and highlighted our rapid work in commercializing AVAT, an automated visual acuity device designed to turn the 6-meter, manual vision chart test into a self-checkout format that fits on a tabletop. 👀 Operations Director, Ace, then guided ~100 attendees with their visual acuity testing, while introducing AVAT to other attendees, demonstrating its ability to free up clinic staff to perform other tasks.
