What is Software Process Improvement Guide (SPIG)?

SPIG is a SECC product and it is an adaptable model of excellence in software development and IT service management based on the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI). SPIG targets mainly SMEs over a period of 9 months. This service qualifies organizations to apply for the "CMMI®" group of services.

  • SPI Consultancy: SECC offers visits targeting the following areas:
    Revise and update process description - Prepare guidelines and template
    - Pilot implementation
    - Review results with stakeholders
    - Select project to implement the update processes
    - Train Engineering Process Group (EPG) practitioners
    - Implement and deploy processes
  • SPI Training: SECC helps your organizations build the required capacity and gain the skills that cover all concepts tackled in the guide through a dedicated training track including Project Management , Product Development, Peer Review, Configuration Management and Quality Assurance in the development track and project Management, service Agreement Management, Service operator Management, Quality Assurance and Configuration Management in the service track .
