Måna has arrived.
Like the story about “The Little Engine that Could” chugging up the steep mountainside to deliver its precious cargo of toys to a group of kids isolated and alone at the top of the mountain by reassuring itself as it climbed up slow and steady along the way by uttering those famous words, “I think I can, I think I can,” Måna has arrived.
As a young startup in the Age Tech sector among healthcare giants, it often feels like Måna Care AB is that “Little Engine That Could” by pushing the boundaries through the introduction of a new care category never seen before among the healthcare and caregiving industry.
With a clear vision to enable digital inclusion and eliminate the social isolation felt by our elderly, cognitively challenged, and intellectually disabled communities, Måna continues to simply amaze everyone who stopped by table 15 at the CAADS show over the last two days.
By offering a new way to extend independent living to these communities, it was immediately recognized that Måna is creating and offering a new class of in-home care services never believed to be possible or accessible.
It’s rewarding to see people experience Måna for the first time. It starts with, “What is a digital caregiving assistant?” to “It can do what?” to “How is this possible?”
Then you see that flash of enlightenment in the person's eyes seeing Måna in action for the first time. It is quickly followed by a number of quotes along the lines of, “Wow, that’s amazing, very, very cool; it’s so intuitive, it draws me in to engage; Måna’s so polite and sympathetic; how does it recognize and translate languages so clearly? Måna’s generative AI agent's personalities are kind, fun, and playful, and the weather agent has a great fashion sense.” The list goes on...
Needless to say, Måna’s US premiere was a hit at the CAADS show as word got around to go check out the Digital Caregiving Assistant at table 15 and brace yourself for a whole new care experience.
In the end, it was rewarding to achieve validation for caregiving professionals and see our vision for Måna being embraced by a whole new community of people that are passionate about delivering the best in-home care possible to enrich the lives of those often isolated communities in our society.
