After an intensive week in Singapore, participating in the Swedish State visit, our management of Independent Business Group, continued to The Phillipines and Manila to further explore opportunities in the region. The modernization of the aviation and airport domain in Asia Pacific is gaining momentum after covid. Independent Business Group want to extend our special thanks for very good support during our visit, to Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of Sweden, Mr Harald Fries and the team from Business Sweden led by Johan Lennefalk and Jayne Yang

Sweden and Singapore share a deep bond, built on global cooperation, innovation and sustainability, making the two countries natural partners in addressing the world’s biggest challenges. In this spirit, we welcomed Minister of Infrastructure and Housing Andreas Carlson, and a delegation of 35 Swedish companies coordinated by Business Sweden Asia-Pacific to SJ Campus. Together, we held workshops focused on areas where our capabilities align: driving sustainable aviation growth; decarbonising transportation systems; advancing clean energy solutions; and transforming maritime trade and logistics. The workshops followed the Singapore-Sweden Royal Business Forum, graced by Sweden’s King Carl XVI Gustaf, and where Temasek CEO Dilhan Pillay spoke on the importance of global partnerships and the role of investors in sustainable innovation. SJ does not yet have a presence in Sweden, but that could change! Another milestone during the delegation’s visit is our MOU with Independent Business Group to accelerate greener aviation. Through dialogue and collective action, we look forward to further joint initiatives to create Real impact, made together.
