In November, we gathered industry analysts, partners, and thought leaders at our D-15 innovation center to delve into the future of mobile innovations within a rapidly changing network ecosystem. 🤝 One of the central themes of our discussions was the potential of programmable networks. 🔍 These networks are not just about enhanced connectivity; they represent a paradigm shift in how applications interact with underlying network infrastructure. Our event highlighted how these advanced capabilities are crucial for meeting current demands and anticipating future needs. 🎙️ In a particularly enlightening session, we spoke with Sachin Katti, Senior Vice President and General Manager of Network and Edge at Intel Corporation. Sachin outlined three pivotal trends: the shift towards open, cloud-based radio access networks (RANs), the rise of automation for efficiency, and the transformative potential of network APIs. He emphasized that cloud-based architectures are key to unlocking new monetization streams beyond traditional connectivity, enabling telecom operators to innovate rapidly. This event underscored the importance of ecosystem collaboration in driving the next generation of mobile networks. With AI playing a crucial role across the technology stack, the innovations we discussed are set to enable unprecedented applications and efficiencies. As we continue to lead in this transformative era, we're committed to pushing the boundaries of what's possible in telecom. Stay tuned as we pave the way for a more connected world! #D15 #Ericsson #5G #ProgrammableNetworks #NetworkAPIs #CloudRAN #Connectivity
