It was a pleasure to host the delegation from Svenskt Näringsliv yesterday, lead by Rudolf Antoni. IonQ joins AstraZeneca BioVentureHub, in the heart of the Gothenburg R&D site. We are thrilled to welcome IonQ to BioVentureHub. The potential of applying quantum computing in Life Science is immense, for example in chemistry, where this technology could pave the way for groundbreaking advancements. Looking back... 👓 🇸🇪 Making Sweden a Leading Life Science Nation - How Do We Get There and Maintain the Position Over Time?   ✅ The theme of the resurrected Exchange event, hosted by AstraZeneca and GoCo Health Innovation City, was highly relevant. Following last week's updated "National Strategy for Life Science," it was presented at the first event in Sweden by Jeanette Edblad, Director of the Office for Life Sciences at the Government Offices, Regeringskansliet, Klimat- och näringslivsdepartementet.   ⭐ Our moderator, Karin Klingenstierna had a busy day leading the activities on stage and advancing the conversations around the subjects to the next level and beyond. What a star... 🎶 We were provided with a global perspective on achieving a leading life science position by Leon Wyszkowski, President Analytical Services Division, Thermo Fisher Scientific and Per Alfredsson, President AstraZeneca AB.   ⭐ Adding up subjects about Greatness, Innovation Culture, Quantum Computing and AI, SustainTech and Co-Creating sessions, inviting the great audience, not only to participate, but also to contribute to the possible steps forward from the industry point of view, in a very collaborative and creative way, facilitated by EY Dobermann. We were all in a imaginative mood, focusing on the wanted position, now and in the future.
