The financial control division handles all financial transactions of the agency including travel, purchasing, procurement, grants management, settlement management, reporting and the annual audit.

This position will be responsible for securing approved travel with a pcard; tracking, auditing and processing travel reimbursements; create purchase orders and vouchers in SHARE; other routine accounting and auditing functions.
*How does it get done?*
Responsibilities include processing and monitoring of travel reimbursements, purchase orders and vouchers; assist with financial division functions.
*Who are the customers?*
Agency employees, DFA, and vendors interacting with the agency.
Ideal CandidatePrefer bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or business administration and 2 years of related experience in finance, accounting/auditing; highly organized and able to prioritize multiple tasks with supervision.
*Minimum Qualification*
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Auditing or Business Administration and two (2) years directly related work experience in accounting, auditing, finance and/or budgeting.

*Employment Requirements*
Must possess and maintain a current Defensive Driving Course Certificate from the State of New Mexico or must pass and receive Defensive Driving Course Certification as a condition of continued employment as some statewide travel maybe required.

Be of good moral character and not have been convicted of a felony offense by a court of this state, any other state or the United States.
*Working Conditions*
Office setting, exposure to Visual/Video Display terminal (VDT) and extensive personal computer and telephone usage with extended periods of sitting, including during public meetings and hearings.
Must be able to lift 25 lbs, and some sitting, standing, bending and reaching may be required.
Some occasional travel, including overnight travel, may be required in and out of state.
