KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our GCMS - The Center of Excellence for Latin America practice.
Responsibilities:
Support ongoing coordination of Global Compliance Management Services (GCMS) engagements in LATAM, acting as point of contact for the client, KPMG teams and other stakeholders participating in the project
Monitor KPIs and interact with subject matter experts with the purpose of identifying risks or tax planning opportunities, and support the set-up and facilitation of workshops to identify process improvement opportunities
Assist the broader engagement team in the transition of GCMS engagements in LATAM, including development and monitoring of transition plan and facilitating knowledge transfer across relevant stakeholders
Participate and support Tax Transformation engagements in LATAM under the Target Reimagined framework
Coordinate go-to-market and business development activities in LATAM, as directed by GCMS leadership, including work with regional CoE leadership and lead partners in opportunity generation and support proposal development process and pricing of new opportunities
Qualifications:
Minimum three years of recent tax or accounting experience in client facing roles; minimum one year project management experience
Strong organization and project management skills; certified PMP preferred
Ability to work well in a multinational teaming environment, working remotely with other team members, as well as being self-sufficient with appropriate oversight
Great interpersonal skills; capacity to develop strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders is critical in the success of this position
English and Spanish (Portuguese is a plus); bilingual skills
