Duties
Performs the work associated with the analysis of Purchase & Assumption Agreements, Shared Loss Agreements (SLA), financial information, asset/collateral valuations, guarantor and borrower financial capacity, portfolio mix, and managerial practices of acquiring institutions to ascertain the risks inherent in the portfolio and ensure the acquirer makes business decisions to maximize collections and minimize losses to the program in accordance with the SLA documents and program guidance.
Performs or coordinates the analysis of complex documentation to determine the appropriateness of loss share claims, asset disposition and recovery strategies.
Executes and manages the review of loss share certificate claims and supporting documentation and approve loss share payment vouchers in accordance with shared loss agreements, written policies and procedures.
Review, coordinate and manage responses to Acquiring Institutions (AI) requests.
Serves as a Technical Monitor on Compliance Monitoring Contractor (CMC) Task Orders to review and provide recommendation on the acceptance of compliance review deliverables.
Serve as point of escalation for AI’s, provide problem resolution management, and report on complex or sensitive SLA compliance issues.
Reviews and processes the corrective action resolution of compliance review findings.
Document monetary compliance findings reimbursement and reconciliation processes and compliance findings clearance as required.
Manages and directs data management, the use of document repositories, and user maintenance support for various systems.
Organizes, plans, and participates in meetings with various FDIC officials, attorneys, accountants, contractors, AI representatives, and/or other federal and state regulatory agency officials as required.
Requirements Conditions of Employment The candidate selected will be offered a term appointment not-to-exceed two (2) years, which may be extended to a maximum of seven (7) years based on workload requirements and organizational staffing authorizations.
