Job Description
Job: Air Export Agent – help to schedule and monitor air shipments!
Air Export involves transporting many different types of cargo throughout the world.
It is a high paced environment with many learning and unique situations that come up along the way.
it involves collaboration with commercial airline carriers, customs, and many other Government agencies.
There is never a dull moment in air export!
Work Schedule: 10am-7pm

An Expeditors Air Export Agent responsibility may include:
Ensure smooth and timely freight process flow.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry into our operational system.
Track and Trace Air Export files and reporting
Ensure arrival notices are communicated to overseas and customers.
Ensure accurate and timely client and Service Providers billing.
Interact with our internal and external customers in arranging their international shipments, meeting customer service standards.
While updating and following policies and procedures.
Contribute to maintaining good relationships with suppliers (Airline carriers, trucking companies and others involved)
Meet compliance at all times with internal and external regulations in accordance with government regulations (this will be taught)
Understand department process flow, looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivity (your opinions matter!)
Meet KPI (metrics) standards in accordance with the Company’s procedure.
Qualifications
Qualifications for Air Export Agent:
Effective interpersonal skills, including proven abilities to listen, comprehend, effectively communicate clearly and concisely to obtain positive results.
Pro-active, strong organizational skills
Good computer skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Fluent in English – reading and writing.
0-12 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Understanding of air documentation process a plus

Air Export Lead Agent, Supervisor and Manager
