Lighting & Controls Specialist Be a part of a fun and exciting Lighting Department Team at Codale Electric Supply.
The Lighting Department works with internal customers, contractors, and end-users to provide state-of-the-art lighting and control solutions.
What You'll Do Provide internal and external customers with quality lighting and lighting control solutions.
Establish relationships with end users and contractors.
Site audits to assess energy savings opportunities.
Provide expertise on design-build opportunities.
Determine the best products to use in retrofit applications.
Educate internal and external customers by facilitating training sessions.
Provide the best solutions to fit within expected budget parameters.
Drive business by seeking out new lighting opportunities and new customers.
Create photometric layouts.
Eager to learn about the most current LED and lighting control technology.
Build relationships with lighting manufacturer representatives.
What You'll Need 3-5 years of lighting or electrical industry experience required.
Knowledge of the construction industry is preferred.
Bluebeam software experience preferred.
AGI software experience preferred.
Knowledge of various lighting control systems.
Experience as a factory representative, designer, architect, electrical engineer, consultant, distributor, or electrical contractor desired.
Interpersonal and relationship-building skills are a must.
Requires occasional travel and customer entertainment.
Willingness to work additional hours to meet deadlines.
