What does a Bottle and Can Technician do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Responsible for remanufacturing vending & cooler equipment.
In this role you will assist in rebuilding mechanical components, interiors and exteriors of cold storage and vending machine units for use by our customers.
Responsibilities
• Quality equipment inspections, paperwork accuracy, and
• Prepped equipment in support of bottle/can production technician needs for reassembly
• Troubleshooting, repairing and testing equipment in support of Sales’ equipment needs
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them by checking manuals
• Measure, cut and adjust refrigeration parts, tubes, brackets, racks, vents and siding to be inserted in designated part of the cooling system
• Assemble, install, or repair wiring, electrical or electronic components, pipe systems, machinery, or equipment
• Order any parts, supplies or equipment from Swire parts storage library within remanufacturing center to replace missing or non-functioning parts of the vending machine
• Conduct quality assurance testing of cooling, electrical, lighting systems and non-digital payment systems (when necessary) as well as testing structural integrity of cold storage and vending machine units.
• Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
• High School Diploma (or GED) required
• 1+ years Experience of vending equipment and parts preferred
• Exceptional organizational, problem solving skills and willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up 50lbs repetitively
• Ability to operate and/or use all types of hand and power tools
