Job Summary:
The incumbent will be responsible for directing, or assisting to direct, a competitive sport program and meeting the Utah High School Activities Association (UHSAA) requirements for the program.
The coach is both a mentor and postive role model for all students with which they interact.
Required Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to build a positive working relationship with students, school staff, administration, parents, and the community.
Skill in developing young athletes while building a strong, positive, and competitive team culture that includes good sportsmanship and excellence in the classroom.
Ability to mentor, train, and educate athletes in the sport and the necessary skills and techniques related to the game.
Ability to foster excellence and a winning culture both on and off the court or field.
Ability to train and educate student athletes in safety and injury prevention.
Knowledge of UHSAA requirements and regulations.
Ability to continue a program with strong traditions and the skills necessary to work with an involved community.
Minimum Requirements
Cleared background check through Granite School District
High school diploma or equivalent
Current Utah Concussion Training certification through National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS)
The applicant recommended for hire is responsible for the cost of the background check.

The fee for the background check must be paid in at time of fingerprinting.
Exact cash or Visa/MasterCard is accepted as payment.
