OASIS Ascent is a short-term residential treatment program for teenagers located in Millcreek, Utah.
The families we serve are in crisis and need support keeping their child safe right now.
At OASIS Ascent, we provide thorough assessment, around-the-clock secure care, and intensive support to young men and women.
We provide a safe setting for adolescents to stabilize where they and their families meet with licensed clinicians to determine the underlying causes of distress and what next steps make the most sense for their needs.
We are looking for a Tutor/TA to our academic coordinator, someone that has the ability to develop positive relationships with students and help them with academics.
This is a part time position where the candidate works directly with our academic advisor serving the academic needs of our students.
The ideal candidate should be a self starter, have the ability to connect with teen girls, and support their academic goals.
A certified teacher is preferred but not required.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have skills in teaching students on an individual basis, the ability to counsel with students, parents and schools, have technical skills for the delivery of digital curriculum, be proficient in Edgenuity and GoGuardian and a love for students who don't fit the traditional mold.
19+ years of age
Able to pass criminal investigation background check
Eligible to work in the USA
Able to pass motor vehicle record check
Current Utah driver's license (within 30 days of employment)
