Here We Grow Early Learning Center is a childcare center that is owned and operated by JoAnne Albrecht in Draper, UT.
We are open Monday through Friday from 7 am to 6 pm.

We are seeking an upbeat individual to be one of our Grade School Teachers, Monday through Friday, full or part-time.
This means you would get the opportunity to show children they are loved and valued, and help them reach their full potential!
Our Grade School Teacher Key Roles and Responsibilities include:
Manage and facilitate various activities for children, including homework help as needed, games, activities, meals, and play
Assist with our Summer Camp program by supervising field trips and in-house activities
Establish, model, and enforce rules of behavior, such as responsibility, kindness, respect, and acceptance to maintain a healthy and safe classroom environment for all students; Reward positive behavior.
Maintain a clean and organized classroom, and sanitize toys and equipment daily
Work with other staff members to form a positive, supportive team atmosphere
Comply with all state rules and regulations
Adhere to the policies and procedures of Here We Grow
The ideal candidate meets the following requirements:
One (1) year of School-age experience
Possesses a desire to make an impact in the lives of others
Has a professional, positive attitude, is reliable and on time
Ability to multitask and care for more than one child at a time
Has a loving and nurturing demeanor with children, is sensitive to the feelings and needs of others, and makes all children feel loved, included, and valued.
Ability to communicate effectively, and establish a positive, supportive atmosphere with management, children, parents, and staff
Has, or is willing to acquire a Food Handler’s permit, CPR, and First Aid Certification
Willing to attend monthly staff meetings
Willing to complete local, state, and national professional training hours.
Completes a Utah Background Check
Meets the physical demands necessary, such as sitting on the floor and standing quickly, climbing or balancing, kneeling, crawling, crouching, lifting, and/or moving up to 50 lbs.
This position is full or part-time, and though one (1) year of school-age experience is preferred, it is not required.
If you don’t meet all of the requirements above, don’t worry, we will happily train you! We also provide our employees the resources and means to further their education in early childhood.

Here We Grow Early Learning Center started as a small business over 20 years ago when Owner JoAnne Albrecht’s search for childcare for her own children was unsuccessful.
Recognizing a wider need for quality childcare, she expanded her business and has successfully established an environment devoted to the love, growth, development, and safety of children from 6 weeks to 12 years of age.
