The current schedule for this position includes courses in biology, environmental science, and AP environmental science.
We are also interested in those endorsed to teach earth sciences and may be able to make adjustments in the schedule to include earth sciences instead of environmental science for the remainder of this year.
A teacher hired for this position must be willing to collaborate with our science department and teachers across the building.
We have a wonderful and diverse community.
Our school culture is positive and we focus a lot on building relationships in order to help everyone learn and grow.
We are looking for teachers who can help us with our goals.
We are also an IB school and any experience or interest in teaching IB, AP, or concurrent level courses is helpful, but not required.
Those who speak Spanish and/or are ESL endorsed may also be given preference.
Required: Secondary Educator degree and endorsed to teach Earth Sciences, Biology, and possibly Environmental Science.

UTAH STATE RETIREMENT
Benefit eligible employees are automatically members of the Utah Retirement Systems (URS).
This means that the District contributes into the URS plan on your behalf each month.
After the URS vesting period of four years, you will have either the Hybrid option, which is a combination of a pension with a 401k plan, or the 401k option if you choose.
Both plans are employer-paid.
You can also choose to enhance your retirement with URS by contributing additional money from your paychecks into a 401k, 457, Traditional IRA, or Roth IRA.
