*Primary Responsibilities*
The Science Teacher at Eva Carlston is responsible for academic instruction in secondary science curriculum and collaboration with the treatment team to provide a therapeutic educational environment for all students.
Eva Carlston is a year round school with 4 week long school breaks throughout the year.
* Teach secondary science curriculum aligned with Utah Common Core standards in the areas of Middle School Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics
* Available to teach Monday-Thursday 9:00-5:00 pm
* Develop assessments to effectively evaluate student learning
* Employ classroom management techniques consistent with program expectations
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s in relevant scientific discipline
* Utah Teaching License preferred, not required
* 2 years of teaching experience preferred
* Experience in residential treatment settings is preferred but not required.
