The assistant will help the course instructors to prepare materials and will be present in the classroom to assist and help facilitate seminars, workshops, and discussions.
They will assist with grading and will help to serve as liaison between the instructors and the students.
Responsibilities The assistant should have good communication skills and be available to the students during assigned weekly office hours.
The assistant will bring experience with interdisciplinary project-based and community engaged curriculum.
We particularly seek someone who has previously taken SUST 6000 and has been successful in carrying out a course project.
Minimum Qualifications Preferences The TA may use FASB 234 for course activities .
Teaching assistants access students information and therefore must be FERPA certified.
