We are seeking a motivated candidate with skills to organize, direct, and control aspects of the
Master of Athletic Training program in the Department of Physical Therapy and Athletic
Training.
This position requires initiative, energy, strong communication skills, and exceptional people skills.
Aspects of program management may include managing financial records, hiring, supply ordering, student records, and accreditation reports Responsibilities • This position supports the day-to-day operations of the Master of Athletic Training program.
• Under the direction of program leadership, administers budgets and manages resources (e.
g.
, money, space, staff, supplies, etc.
).
• Maintains budget records, such as reconciling accounts and preparing expenditure statements; documentation of purchases made on P-Card.
• Assists with the University hiring processes for department hires.
• Supports faculty, staff, and students in making travel arrangements, including flights, hotel reservations, conference registrations.
• Assists recruiting and admissions for the Master of Athletic Training.
• Assist in preparing external accreditation documents.
• Assists the program with meetings and program events, including scheduling, room reservations, e-mail contacts, event catering and logistics, minute taking.
• Assists program with planning and implementation of student educational seminars, student workshops, and outreach activities with prospective students and academic partners.
• Works and interacts with others in and outside the department and central administration.
• Answers telephones and gives information to callers, takes messages, or transfers calls to appropriate individuals.
• Greets visitors and communicates with students, faculty, staff and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related area plus three years of experience in budget, grant and program management or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience) required.
Develops and implements program ideas into successful academic and research programs; demonstrated human relations and effective communication skills also required.
