Duties:
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities for preschool-aged children
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play and structured activities
- Monitor and assess each child's progress and provide feedback to parents/guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Qualifications:
- Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children
- Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in early childhood education
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Patience, creativity, and a genuine love for working with children
- Ability to adapt to different learning styles and individual needs of each child
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a background check
Skills:
- Tutoring: Ability to provide one-on-one instruction and support to students as needed.
- Classroom Management: Skill in maintaining order and discipline in a classroom setting.
- Preschool Curriculum: Knowledge of age-appropriate curriculum for preschool-aged children.
- Toddler Care: Experience in caring for toddlers, including meeting their basic needs and providing a nurturing environment.
- Child Welfare: Understanding of the importance of child safety, well-being, and protection.
- Early Childhood Education: Familiarity with theories, practices, and methodologies related to early childhood education.
- Experience with Children: Previous experience working with young children in a professional setting.
- Educate: Ability to effectively teach and convey information to young learners.
- Childcare: Knowledge of best practices in providing quality childcare services.
- Special Education: Familiarity with strategies for supporting children with special needs.
