PC Tots, a quality non-profit preschool and education center subsidized for the working families in Park City, is seeking a passionate and motivated Preschool Teacher to join our team.
As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a program of activities that promotes the social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development of each child enrolled in the class.
In addition, you will be responsible for the health, safety, and supervision of each child in the classroom group.
*Qualifications:*
* Experience and interest in working with young children, parents, and volunteers.
* Success in working as a member of a team.
* Effective and strong communication skills (orally and written).
* Ability to work well with young children.
Preference will be given to candidates with their CDA, Child Development Associates, or Bachelors in Early Childhood.
We are looking for a teacher who has a warm and welcoming personality, is comfortable with a diverse school population of children and families and has a declared passion for children and a willingness to help provide quality early learning experiences for young children to promote their overall developmental well-being.
*Responsibilities:*
* Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote the development of self-esteem and self-discipline.
* Implement the daily program of activities based on principles of child development and in accordance with the program's Creative curriculum and Second Step Curriculum.
* Establish a positive relationship with each child's family and share information about the child's day at the Center.
* Perform other duties as required by teachers and supervisors.
* Bilingual is a bonus.
