MSCMHC Admissions Ambassador

Position Summary Position Title MSCMHC Admissions Ambassador Department MSMHC Work Schedule Position Summary The MSMHC Admissions Ambassador represents the MSMHC program to prospective graduate students with a specific focus on the graduate student experience and diversity, equity, and inclusion.
Tasks include: Meet with prospective students at Open House events, Admissions Interviews, and 1:1 meetings.
Discuss issues of diversity, equity and inclusion as they relate to the MSMHC program and the counseling career.
Discuss the benefits and impacts of CACREP accreditation for the program and students Discuss the training program and counseling career.
Convey meeting outcomes to core faculty and admissions coordinator.
Required Qualifications Advanced graduate student in MSMHC.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Able to complete tasks independently and professionally.
Able to speak to issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion with humility and curiosity.
Preferred Qualifications Completed practicum in MSMHC.
Experience with college admissions.
Career Readiness Competencies student will develop through this position.
