Position Summary
Private Climbing Instructors will be responsible for teaching individual and group climbing instruction to the many types of members of the Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center.
Climbing Instructors will cover skills and knowledge in a logical progression for climbing skill development.
Depending on the need of the Center, Climbing Instructors should be prepared to teach adults as well as children’s climbing progressions.
Required Qualifications

· Comprehensive understanding of programs offered through the Fitness, Wellness, and Recreation Department
· Positive and collaborative spirit
· Previous experience with climbing and climbing instruction
Any Required Course Work or Certification Needed for Position:
· Already employed as a Climbing Wall Staff and have completed the Climbing Wall Staff Training
CPR/AED and First Aid – Required within 3 months of hire
