Job Description:
We are seeking passionate and qualified Child Care Teachers to join our team.
We are currently seeking a Young Toddler (12-18 months) and Two's Teacher (24-36 months).
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of child development principles, a creative approach to teaching, and a commitment to providing top-notch care for young children.
As a Child Care Teacher, you will play a pivotal role in creating a safe, supportive, and enriching environment where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and activities that promote cognitive, physical, social, and emotional growth.
- Create a warm, welcoming, and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and independence.
- Establish positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues, fostering open communication and collaboration.
- Observe and assess children's development and progress, documenting observations and communicating findings to parents and supervisors.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment, adhering to health and safety regulations and protocols.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development opportunities, and ongoing training to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on best practices in early childhood education.
- Demonstrate professionalism, reliability, and dedication to the well-being and development of every child in your care.
Qualifications:
- Current CDA or Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
- Previous experience working in a licensed childcare setting or preschool program.
- Strong knowledge of child development theories, practices, and curriculum frameworks (e.
g.
, Reggio Emilia, Montessori, HighScope).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Pass required background checks and clearances.
