🇸🇦 Major Regional Logistics Center being established in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province; Connected with an expanded Dammam Port and a new City Metro system, the logistics centre will cover an area of 8 square kilometers and will account for 55% of the regional logistics handling by 2030. Dammam, Saudi Arabia’s 3rd largest city and GCC’s vital economic hub, is connected with Riyadh by railway. Sharqia Development Authority’s CEO Omar Alabdullatif said: “nearly 37% of Kingdom’s total imports are carried through the Eastern Province ports, followed by Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz Port with 25%.
