🎓 MSc in Infomation Systems Engineering! 🎓 Five years at University of Belgrade, Faculty of Organizational Sciences have flown by, and the final stamp on my studies was my master’s thesis on "Consumer perceptions of chatbots in customer service". In a time when chatbots are increasingly being used, how consumers actually perceive them and what could be improved are often overlooked. My research aimed to answer these questions. Is this the final step in my formal education? For now, yes. One chapter closes, and a new one begins. I'm looking forward to the future challenges and opportunities that lie ahead!🚀

Yesterday, the Slovenian government endorsed the concept behind the sloESOP Act. 🙌   The Employee Ownership Cooperative Act - the sloESOP Act - is based on the policy proposal produced by the Inštitut za ekonomsko demokracijo. The Act will introduce the Cooperative ESOP model designed based on the experience in the USA (1974), the UK (2014), Canada (2024), and soon in Denmark. The legislation will address a number of existing barriers and provide a fiscal incentive to establish sustainable broad-based employee ownership in businesses. We expect the support for ESOPs leading to widespread use of the model in the Slovenian economy. Interestingly, in the UK, employee buyouts through the EOT model became the second most popular choice for exiting owners last year, just after the PE buyouts, overtaking family succession. 🤞 We hope the government will continue the efforts and pass the sloESOP Act by the end of 2024. https://lnkd.in/dP9zi3wE

Nurturing Reflective Practice – Creating the Habit of Looking into Your Inner Mirror When I find myself with back-to-back #coaching, #mentoring, or #supervision sessions throughout the day, followed by a rush to pick up my daughter from kindergarten, completing daily chores, and socializing – only to repeat it all again the next day – I come to an important realization. Whenever I don't allow enough space between these activities to reflect on what each has brought me (whether it's a session, a meeting, reading, or watching a video), I feel drained. But more importantly, I miss out on valuable insights and learning moments about the quality of my work and my personal growth. I recently wrote an article in Serbian for the EMCC Serbia blog on the importance of nurturing #reflectivepractice. I see it as the first step and an introduction to some reflective activities I plan to design and facilitate in the future. 😊 If this resonates with you and you'd like to explore my sources of inspiration, I highly recommend the works of Michelle Lucas and Iain McCormick PhD :)

As technology continues to shape our lives, the need for comprehensive digital education becomes more apparent. 📚 Work on new Serbian Artificial Intelligence Strategy is finished. The strategy was developed with the involvement of the Working Group over 50 experts. The Public Policy Secretariat of the Republic of Serbia was connected on several points as well: Darinka Radojevic Head of department, sector for planning system, coordination, development and improvement of public policies took part in the mapping of The National AI strategy standards. The goal of the strategy is to ready up Serbia for general use of AI, define core structures of the ecosystem, and vocal actual economic results in several fields. Draft version will be implemented on the eConsultation portal to facilitate public participation in developing and monitoring the implementation of public policy. 🎓 I would like to inform you that my thesis, "Two-way Learning for TD Repayment Prioritization: Human-Centric Approach," was successfully completed and presented at the University of Macedonia. 📚 I developed a machine learning model aiming to predict which classes are more likely to be in need of refactoring by taking into account the needs and priorities of the development teams. Then, it was validated with real-world data and incorporated within an application to provide development teams with support for more effective technical debt management. 🔍 This way, the model can take advantage of LIME (a technique in Explainable AI) such that it becomes enlightening why a class has that need for refactoring. Hence, developers become aware of the model's recommendations and can provide feedback by agreeing or disagreeing with the suggestions. Later, this feedback is taken and the model is retrained and re-improved on a continuous basis.
