Pushed the updated UI/UX changes for AutoProject, with a new sidebar, settings page, about page, support for more AI inference options, and a robust error notification system. TL;DR. A DIY tool to automatically create starter PRDs, userstories for your requirement and push them into a new project in your project management tools like Linear. Support for Asana, Jira and Plane is coming very soon. Disclaimer: This is a POC with breaking flows. Sometimes the AI models won't generate valid content and can throw an error. Best model to use for high success rate is Gemini Pro. The next best model is Phi-3 which can be used via LM Studio's local server. Support for Groq APIs and LM Studio added but they can cause errors. It requires more prompt tuning and validation to stabilize. All options have a free tier to use. We follow a BYOK model. Current Usecases: 1. Generate starter PRD for a new project idea you have. 2. Automatically create userstories. 3. Create a new project based on the PRD and all the associated userstories into your PM app with a single click. No more manual entries or copy pasting or more than one mouse click to set things up. I'm personally using this to create a backlog of side project ideas with userstories. Planned usecases for the future. 1. Generate proper technical tasks for each user story with system design and implementation instructions. 2. Support to automatically update existing projects with new feature requirements, and their corresponding user stories and tasks. 3. Automatically search and scout for project ideas/requirements based on painpoints people share on Twitter/Reddit. (When this is implemented, you don't even need to type your requirements. User doesn’t need anything until they pay you for it. Trust me sis. Go sell. Build later. Arugubly building difficultly is all time low. With claude 3.5, cursor and vercel v0. And selling is also all time low. Imho we, as in gen z and alpha, lack great speaking skills So selling is a “high effort” item But sell before you build. The best way to understand EMV is to imagine a transaction as a conversation between the card and the terminal. During this conversation, the terminal uses two checklists to ensure the transaction runs smoothly and securely: 1-Terminal Verification Results (TVR) 2-Transaction Status Information (TSI) How does it work? Both TVR and TSI start as arrays of bits set to 0. As the transaction progresses, specific bits are flipped to 1 to indicate certain events or checks. Example 1: TVR – Avoiding Fraudulent Transactions The TVR acts as a risk assessment checklist. For instance, the terminal might set a bit to 1 if: The card has expired. Offline authentication failed. The transaction amount exceeds the terminal's risk threshold. By the end of the conversation, the terminal evaluates the TVR checklist to decide whether to approve or decline the transaction. Example 2: TSI – Tracking the Transaction Process The TSI helps the terminal track the transaction’s progress. Bits are set to 1 when specific steps are completed, such as: Offline data authentication. Cardholder verification (e.g., PIN entry). Online authorization by the issuer. Think of TSI as a progress tracker, ensuring the transaction flows correctly from start to finish. The Bigger Picture By relying on these two checklists, the terminal ensures it doesn’t: Accept a fraudulent or expired card. Skip crucial steps in the process. And that's where everyone is now: going back to SSR, because this is the new correct. All the times before we were wrong but finally we're right. An excellent developer will be amazed by current technology but not blind by convinction. An excellent developer will both acknowledge the current changes but at the same time look at them with necessary critical viewpoints. Only 3 to 4% of people with schizophrenia have full time jobs. I am one of them. Schizoaffective disorder is symptoms of schizophrenia combined with symptoms of bipolar. I am mostly symptom-less now, and have been for a long while. I still get depressed, sometimes. I still get sad. I still get anxious and paranoid. I still get full of too much energy. But if I didn't tell you these things, you probably wouldn't notice. When I was first being diagnosed, there was a lot of uncertainty. What is wrong with me? Why am I not normal? What is real? Desperate for answers, I researched what those who successfully lived with the disorder. There were a few indicators: upbringing, support network, education, and insight. I did not have a big support network. I lived far from most of my friends and family. I had education, a good upbringing, but poor insight at this point. I'd lived with the symptoms ever since teenage years, so to me it was normal. A great way to gain insight is through data. So I started collecting data. Who in my family tree had similar problems? When did I feel bad, happy, confused? Many of the existing tracking apps were okay, but didn't fit my exact needs. They would ignore psychosis, which was one of my biggest problems. So I wrote my own tracker. In a week. Cross platform across web, mobile apps, and Electron. That was around 6 or 7 years ago. I spent the last couple of weeks updating it, so that I could finally release it open source. Yesterday, I released it. There is more and more evidence that the video about Devin (the AGI) solving an Upwork job was mostly manufactured. For me, it shows a wider problem: People get hyped and blindly buy into that. Companies/Startups obviously have to pay bills and want to grow - if they show you a product and you can not independently and transparently check it, be super cautious! That isn't only true for AI but most industries and products in general. And especially if there is a Hype Train - If there is hype, there is money. "Empowered engineers are the single most important thing that you can have in a company." Recently, I mentioned Marty Cagan's book "Empowered" and its emphasis on why a great environment matters more than extraordinary individuals. There's another cool concept in it, called: empowered engineers 👨‍💻 Now, empowering engineers isn't just letting them decide which architecture they prefer. It's about fully integrating them into all product belongings. How you do that? Instead of just assigning tasks, include engineers early on in product discovery. Because they know what's feasible, they often work in a different solution space, bringing up original ideas. That's why great product companies hire engineers who care about what they build, not only how they build it. That's where true innovation comes from. All that is to say, it greatly reminds me of the product engineer role, which focuses on exactly that! 👏 __ Do you think engineers "want" to be integrated into product topics?

At the same time, you shouldn’t get a dev agency without a #fractional #cto - a dev lawyer 😝 The fractional CTO is responsible for preparing and maintaining the technology strategy (what gets built, what does not get built, what stack is used, what partnerships are made). Fractional CTO can and should say “no” often to management. Dev agency can be responsible for executing the strategy under the supervision of a fractional CTO. Since dev agencies are “yes”-sayers, they should only focus on tasks, not plans.
