🌞 Resilient, Efficient, and Intuitive Operations for Large-Scale PV Systems – Achieving More with ZeroDefect4PV The ZeroDefect4PV project sets new standards in monitoring and optimizing large-scale photovoltaic systems. Our mission: harnessing technological innovation to boost energy efficiency and reduce maintenance costs – a vital step toward a sustainable solar energy future. Key achievements from Work Package 2 include: 🔍 Fault Diagnosis with AI: Various algorithms and methods for fault diagnosis have been classified and evaluated based on potential fault scenarios, their characteristics, and impacts. These models enable precise detection and classification of PV faults that affect energy yields. ⚙️ Innovative Sensor Integration: Communication architecture, interfaces, and data structures have been thoroughly analyzed and defined. Innovative sensors developed by İnelso Energy Systems enable monitoring at the module level and will soon be integrated into the Integrated Operation Center at Fraunhofer IFF in the Elbfabrik. 🌐 Holistic Energy Management: System requirements have been assessed, functions, KPIs, and layouts defined, and prototypes implemented. Intelligent algorithms ensure seamless integration of energy management and IoT systems, paving the way for predictive maintenance and maximum energy efficiency. This project is funded by the @German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, @Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye and Executive Agency for Higher Education, Research, Development and Innovation Funding - UEFISCDI under the @ERA-Net Initiative. On November 19th, researchers from BEIA Consult visited the Faculty of Fine Arts at the University of Granada, Spain, marking the beginning of their secondment as part of the RRReMaker project. During the visit, the BEIA team engaged in insightful discussions with members of the RRReMaker team in Granada, including pre-doctoral researcher Ana María Mingorance Paredes and Professor Dr. David López Rubiño from the Department of Drawing. The exchange focused on BEIA’s contributions to the project, including their expertise in workshops, fab labs, and other innovative institutions in and around Bucharest. This meeting fostered knowledge-sharing and collaboration, highlighting BEIA’s role in advancing the project’s objectives.

Scenario development workshop in Eggenburg (Austria) On 12 November 2024, the second workshop on the topic of ‘Scenarios for the energy future’ took place in Eggenburg. After a brief review of workshop 1, selected renewable energy potentials (rooftop photovoltaics, ground-mounted photovoltaics and small-scale wind power) were presented and intensively discussed with the participants. In the subsequent ‘Energy Transition Game’ the participants were able to analyse the spatial effects of renewable energy plants for electricity and heat generation and find out how many plants are needed to cover the region’s energy demand from renewable energies. The results of workshop 1 were then discussed together and prioritised according to the urgency of implementation). In the course of the workshop, it became clear that the topic of heat generation, distribution and storage, in particular, represents a major challenge for the municipality. Another workshop will be held in Eggenburg in spring 2025 to continue working on the clean energy transition strategy.

**Showcasing CHRISS Project - Critical Infrastructure High ️ Accuracy and Robustness Increase Integrated Synchronization Solutions for Disaster Management ** 🚀 🛰️ 💙 💫 I had the opportunity to present on behalf of Beia Consult International at the workshop for Satellite-Based Services for Disaster Risk Management in Romania organized by Eurisy, ROSA and EUSPA - EU Agency for the Space Programme at the University of Politehnica Bucharest . My presentation demonstrated how the CHRISS project can improve disaster response and recovery efforts by providing a precise synchronization signal extracted from satellites.
