Come join the DMVA team, apply today! DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Maintenance Repairman 2, you will perform various tasks in the repair and maintenance of buildings, grounds, machinery, and equipment.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 7.
5-hours/day; 37.
5-hours/week.
Work hours are 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with 30-minute lunch.
Rotating schedule and works every other weekend.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: Four years of experience in building and plant maintenance work, which has involved at least two of the building, electrical, or mechanical trades; or Two years of experience as a Maintenance Repairman 1; or Any equivalent combination of experience and training that affords the applicant with the Required Knowledges, Skills, and Abilities.
Necessary Special Requirement: You must be in possession of a valid Pennsylvania Class C Driver's License.
Additional Requirement: You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required): Experience in commercial carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC trades.
Experience in commercial and structural maintenance of buildings and equipment Experience working with 3-phase wiring to include emergency generators, Automatic Transfer Switches, switch gears and 3-phase panels.
Experience working domestic hot water mixing valves, recirculating loops, aqua stats and instantaneous water heaters.
Experience with the provisions of Life Safety Codes and Uniform Construction Code (UCC), as it relates to repairs of buildings.
Experience in the maintenance and repair of building at a long-term care facility.
Legal Requirements: A conditional offer of employment may require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening.
This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
