🏅 Lampsy Health wins first place at the Santander X University Portugal Awards!! 🏅 Recently we were fortunate to take part in and win first place at the Santander X University Portugal Awards! Last year we finished in the top 10, and this year we won it all, which really highlights how far we've come over the past year, and is another big accolade for our breakthrough epilepsy monitoring device, designed to bring peace of mind to people with #epilepsy. 💜 We want to thank the jurors, Lara Ligeiro, Teresa Fiúza and João Pereira for seeing the potential in our project, as well as Santander X and 351 Portuguese Startup Association for the selection, recognition, and support, specifically Isabel Carapeta, Francisca Vieira Matias, Ines Rocha de Gouveia and Ricardo Jorge! With this win comes the possibility of participating in the Santander X Global Awards, for which we are super excited! Wish us luck! 🤞

📺 Look mom, Lampsy is on TV! 📺 During our time at Web Summit, we were fortunate to be featured on television twice: on the prime time news broadcast Jornal Nacional on TVI, and on NOW's Global 5.0. We didn't even mention our website lampsyhealth.com or our preliminary waiting list, and yet we got an absolutely insane influx of people going there and registering to get notified when Lampsy becomes available to them. To us, it shows just how strong the need for accurate epilepsy monitoring is, and how important this work is for people living with #epilepsy. 💥💥 Web Summit was a blast for Lampsy Health! 💥💥 This year was our first at Web Summit, and we had a fantastic experience. We were featured twice in the Startup Portugal and Unicorn Factory Lisboa stand, where we spoke to a number of people from within and outside the Portuguese ecosystem. The whole event was a great opportunity to show off our incredible epilepsy monitoring device. We were actually surprised by how many people we met had experience with epilepsy, either themselves or through loved ones, and really saw the immense value of our device. Epilepsy is a much more common condition that most people are aware of! We were also fortunate to attend multiple side events - we especially enjoyed The Founder House which honoured the great João Vasconcelos, where we met some amazing founders like Luis Valente from iLoF and Milana Dovzhenko, co-founder of Bairro; GROW By The River organized by José de Mello and João Mil-Homens, where we got to meet the great people at CUF - Hospitais e Clínicas's innovation department and even randomly won a fantastic Ravasqueira wine in a Kahoot quiz (another one for the trophy cabinet 😅) and last but not least Healthtech Connect, organized by David Siqueira Magboulé and our friends at EIT Health, which was a great way to keep in touch with our fellow #healthtech founders, like our friend Francisco Maria Calisto, PhD. Finally we do want to mention our friends at Instituto Superior Técnico and TT@Técnico, who this year had a great stand and lots of represented founders from startups like Testwaves, Windcredible, BreastScreening-AI and Emissium!
