We are excited to share the new partnership with Freebee, an innovative micro-transit solution that replaces Safe Ride with new expanded hours, Monday through Friday from 7 p.m. through 4 a.m. Freebee will provide transportation to a primary and secondary zone, where the primary zones encompass the University of Miami campus boundaries, and the secondary zone to certain areas around campus.
Rides must either start or end on campus to be eligible to use the service. This service seeks to enhance the mobility experience with benefits such as mobile tracking, improved data collection, and expanded hours of service.
To access this service, simply request a ride through the UMiami App and choose the Freebee option. It is available on both iOS and Android platforms.
