With current market conditions dictating de-dollarisation (which is failing miserably, apparently), the push for using cryptocurrency as legal tender for payment instead of SWIFT is increasing. 𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐊𝐀𝐙𝐀𝐊𝐇𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐍 Kazakhstan has been at the forefront of digital banking since the late 1990s, and Kaspi Bank was the first true digital bank back in 1997. Kaspi Bank IPOd on the Nasdaq recently, at $92/share raising $1Bn at a valuation of $17.5Bn. Kazakhstan is also leading the way for digitalisation in the entire region, which is home to the Middle Corridor, now the new Silk Road running from China, through Central Asia, to Turkey and from there - the EU. The concept of turning cryptocurrency into legal tender has been buzzing for years, with countries also moving to CBDC options as ways to ensure a more stable currency altogether, not to mention being able to monitor money movement in a suggested, cashless society - which also allows the eradicating of black money, grey markets, etc. 𝐕𝐊, 𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐂𝐇 Telegram has been seeing a huge increase in its user base and there are ways to exchange funds the same way apps such as PayBox or Bit work. Pavel and his older brother, Nikolai, are also the co-founders of VK, Russia's equivalent of Facebook which also serves as an ESP. This poses a question, though: 𝐖𝐇𝐘 𝐓𝐄𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐌 Telegram is already used by roughly 1.5Bn people worldwide, marking it as the 4th most popular messaging app. Would this also be an appealing way to move to Telegram for payments, considering how it is considered a more anonymous and as such, possibly, "more secure" app? Dear colleagues, we have described the Crypto Scam Methods: 1. Fake ICOs (Initial Coin Offerings) Scammers create a fake ICO, collect money from investors, and then disappear. They might have a professional-looking website, whitepaper, and extensive marketing campaigns to lure investors. 2. Ponzi and Pyramid Schemes Similar to traditional financial pyramid schemes, these scams promise high returns from crypto investments. Returns for the early investors are paid using the capital from newer investors. Eventually, when the new investments stop, the scheme collapses. 3. Pump and Dump Groups These groups often coordinate via social media. They artificially inflate the price of small, less-known cryptocurrencies (pump) and then sell off their shares when the price peaks (dump), causing the price to crash and leaving other investors at a loss. 4. Phishing Scams Scammers use phishing emails or fake websites to trick users into providing their crypto wallet's private keys or login credentials, granting them access to the victims' digital assets. 5. Fraudulent Exchanges and Wallets Some scammers set up fake exchanges or wallets that may offer lower transaction fees, free coins, or other incentives. Once a user deposits their cryptocurrency, the scammers might steal it, or the exchange or wallet might simply disappear. 6. Social Media Scams Scammers may impersonate celebrities or known crypto influencers on social media, promising to multiply any cryptocurrency sent to them. Of course, any sent crypto is stolen. 7. Malware Malicious software is designed to infiltrate a user's computer to steal cryptocurrency or log keystrokes to gain access to wallets. 8. Ransomware This type of malware locks victims out of their computers or encrypts files, demanding a ransom, typically in cryptocurrency, for the release of the locked resources. 9. Deceptive Advertisements Using fake news articles or endorsements from celebrities, scammers will push deceptive ads that lead to scam websites. 10. Cloud Mining Scams Scammers promise to lease the computing power of their crypto mining setup in exchange for a fee. The profits from mining never materialize for the investors. 11. Non-Existent Coins Scammers create and hype a new cryptocurrency that doesn't actually exist or is worthless and sell it to unsuspecting investors. 12. SIM Swapping Attackers gain control of a victim's phone number and use it to reset passwords and bypass two-factor authentication, gaining access to crypto accounts. 13. Investment Seminars and Courses Offering seminars and courses that claim to teach you how to make huge profits in the crypto market, scammers will either provide worthless information or steal your investment when you attempt to trade through their recommended platforms. The short-seller attack against Kaspi.kz is egregious, borderline discriminatory and definitively a witch hunt. Crafting a Russia connection because #Kaspi works with Yandex Taxi in the KZ market? Really? i) Yandex is not a sanctioned entity; ii) If Uber isn't in the market, who is Kaspi supposed to work with? iii) How can we draw inferential assumptions based on a company's country of origin? Never mind the factual errors on balance holdings of nonresidents at Kaspi Bank. Never mind the bogus circumstantial claims involving screenshots of social media reviews. Never mind the fact that if Culper's McCarthyist research based on replacement of causation with weak correlation was true, every bank in Central Asia would be under sanctions today (contrary to the official stance of the United States). Kaspi has turned the impossible into reality - it has proven that you can build a $2B net profit fintech in Central Asia. It is a larger-than-life company that has broken multiple ceilings - paving the way for others like zypl.ai to emerge out of Central Asia. Just yesterday I put part of my savings into the $KSPI stock to put skin in the game. As a fintech founder from the region, I am not only inspired by what Kaspi has done - I am bullish and long on Kaspi's continued growth.

These funds will be transferred to Kyiv as part of a specially created Ukraine Assistance Fund." Not only have Western sanctions failed to change Russia's choices, but this is a case where sanctions have caused more suffering for Europeans than Russia itself.” 🔸 In 2022, when sanctions were pouring in on Russia from all sides, politicians in Europe and the US were warned that Russia would find a way out to solve its economic problems. Back then it was called “Russian disinformation” (propaganda)!  🔸 Le Figaro also recognizes in this article that if the US refuses to fund Ukraine, Europe will not be able to replace the US.

AGAINST ALL ODDS My take on some of Jens’s options “why try” is this: 1. Big difference between what putin, who personally is involved in direct command of SMO, and his generals believe. putin having consolidated his grip over the “elites”, having put the economy on war rails, and having lost touch with reality, wants to capture Kharkiv, a former capital of Ukraine (1919-1934), at any cost. He then would call a “referendum” and annex Kharkiv, historically a russian-speaking but Ukrainian by heart and blood city. For him, and in the eyes of “deep russia”this would be a great omen. So, first and foremost, optics, symbolics and esoterics of the imperialist mindset. 2. Together putin and generals don’t give a damn what unit commanders and soldiers think. They think about saving their skin and sending home as many war trophies (washing machines, pantyhose, and toilet bowls) as possible. 3. By trying to capture (or at least siege) Kharkiv, putin wants to test the speed and resolve at which the Ukraine solidarity alliance can beef up its weapons and ammo production output, sustain and increase military and financial assistance to Kyiv and meet russia’s full militarisation challenge. 4. According to Khodorkovsky’s calculations, Moscow spends about $120bn a year on the war, 5.4% of Russia’s $2.2 trillion GDP. The most used Russian artillery shell costs about $400-500. 5. Europe’s aid to Kyiv over two years amounts to $88bn, roughly 0.25% of the EU’s GDP, while a unit cost of artillery shells range between $5,000 and $8,000. 6. With the US aid included, it turns out that russia is outproducing the West by at least 2.5:1. If elected Trump withdraws, This year, that ratio could increase to 4:1. 7. At the start of the war, Russia’s population was 142 million compared to Ukraine’s 40 million, a ratio of about 3.5:1. Now, this ratio could be 7:1. 8. China. Xi and putin both pretend they like each other and enact a “friendship forever” show. Quite opposite. Moreover, China views Siberia and Far East as potentially their living space. Xi wants russia substantially weakened but not defeated and humiliated. Xi waits for the moment to intervene and save the world from the WW3 thus demonstrating his geopolitical leadership. putin wants Chinese energy market, weapons and political non-interference. Kremlin is afraid of China and when the moment is right will not hesitate to switch sides. Fully agree with Jens’s appeal: Time to arm Freedom & Democracy! Give Ukraine all the tools Ukrainians need and enable them to pull off, against all odds, what the whole civilised world hopes for - putting a stop to the global offensive of imperialist russizm.

B R I C S TO CREATE ITS VERY OWN CENTRAL BANK 🏦 BRICS is stepping up its game by setting up its own central bank. This is big news because it means they’re planning to issue their own currency. Sergei Ryabkov, Russia’s Deputy Foreign Minister, made it clear that having their own bank is key to this plan. What is B R I C S: BRICS refers to certain emerging market countries—Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, and more—that seek to establish deeper ties between member nations and cooperate on economic expansion, including trade. What with this new ‘Central Bank’? The BRICS countries have been discussing the creation of their own currency as part of their plan to reduce their dependence on the US dollar. However, this move will not happen overnight as there are some significant issues they need to address first. According to Ryabkov, the first step towards creating a new currency would be to establish a central bank. This involves more than just printing money; the central bank would be responsible for setting rules and regulations for the currency, including its value and interest rates. Challenges Ahead: Expansion Complexity: With BRICS doubling in size due to more countries joining, the process of making significant decisions becomes more complicated. This expansion brings diverse interests and perspectives to the table, making consensus-building challenging. Timing and Implementation: While there's optimism about moving forward, the timeline for actual implementation remains unclear. Rapid progress is hinted at, but the specifics of when and how to remain vague, posing uncertainty. Robert Kiyosaki's Concern: Robert Kiyosaki, author of "Rich Dad, Poor Dad," has been vocal about his concerns regarding a potential economic crash in the US. JUSTIN SUN ELECTED PRIME MINISTER OF LIBERLAND MICRONATION Liberland, a self-proclaimed sovereign nation founded on April 13, 2015, by Czech libertarian politician Vít Jedlička, is nestled between Croatia and Serbia. Following the Oct. 5 election, crypto entrepreneur Justin Sun has been elected as its new Prime Minister. The election results also brought entrepreneur Evan Luthra, journalist Jillian Godsi, former Croatian politician Ivan Pernar, and IT professional Dorian Stern Vukotić into Liberland’s Congress alongside Sun. The micronation’s spokesperson emphasized that the election process was algorithm-driven, allowing for transparency and eliminating the doubts that traditional methods often face. Liberland’s embrace of blockchain reflects a rising interest among crypto enthusiasts in forming sovereign microstates. Inspired by the concept of network states, popularized by Balaji Srinivasan, these micronations aim to use blockchain technology and privately held land to create decentralized, geographically distributed states. The movement follows other initiatives like Bitnation, the first crypto microstate to declare sovereignty in 2014, and the idea of “seasteading”—constructing sovereign installations in international waters. Although seasteading has faced opposition from established nations, advocates continue to explore the potential for blockchain-based governance and autonomous states. However, critics argue that these micronations face challenges beyond technological innovation, including defending their territories against more powerful nation-states. To Avoid Another Munich, Europe Must Act to Secure Ukraine! 1. The inevitability of Russia prevailing is a myth. 2. There is no credible plan for Ukrainian (or European) security after any ‘ceasefire’. 3. Failing to win endangers all European allies. 4. The route to Ukrainian victory still exists. 5. Those who want to act, can. The course of action we propose is, for a coalition of willing nations within NATO to commit to enhance military and financial support to Kyiv and to recommit to the aim of a sovereign Ukraine within its borders recognised by international law, focused around a clear strategy and theory of victory. This is necessary to avoid any immediate detrimental effects in Ukraine after the election, which would aid Russia, to live up to our alliance commitments and take responsibility for our own security. The Council on Geostrategy, in conjunction with over 100 signatories including senior parliamentarians, former Ambassadors and security experts, initiated a public appeal encouraging the UK and other European nations to step up and provide the support Ukraine needs to secure victory against russia. ❗️Here are some basics on how Moscow #plays with your mind. The russian government has become far more inventive at manipulating social media boosting lies about Ukraine and its government. Their ultimate aim is to #uproot Western support and deliberately discredit Ukraine in order to #mislead foreign citizens, turn them against it and get them to pressure their governments to withhold support for Ukraine. Here is a massive #campaign launched by the Kremlin called a 'Black Hole'. Although it was debunked, #millions of social media users shared russian-fabricated content and were brazenly misled. Russia just fined Google about a Gagillion Bazillion dollars for blocking specific Russian channels. The actual number is two undecillion rubles or $20 decillion, which is many orders of magnitude higher than the global GDP of $100 trillion. Of course, Google no longer operates in Russia so there isn’t a real material concern.
