The reality star and SUR hostess posted a sweet photo yesterday of her late father, Kent Burningham, on what would’ve been his 65th birthday. Kent captioned the Instagram tribute, “I still haven’t accepted you’re not here anymore. I’ve been with you, on this day, for the last 28 years. I miss you. The first is a picture of a smiling young Burningham with the words, “Happy birthday to a legend of a dad.” The second shows off a beautiful bouquet of white roses and a sympathy note from Kent’s Hollywood producer fiancé, Randall Emmett. La La Kent/Instagram Burningham died on April 21 of last year, according to an obituary posted by The Salt Lake Tribune. Kent announced his death on Instagram a few days later by sharing a lighthearted video of the father-daughter duo testing out a Snapchat filter. The Vanderpump Rules’ star opened up about the struggle of losing her father last summer in an interview for SiriusXM’s The Jenny McCarthy Show, Revealing that Emmet had even asked Kent’s father for permission to marry her before he died. “That makes me so happy, because I am struggling with the fact that I won’t have a dad to see me have babies or get married,” Kent said on the radio show. “So it just means a lot to me that Rand did that before he passed.”
