Laguna Beach: The Real Orange County made serious waves in reality TV.

The hit MTV show premiered in 2004 and throughout three seasons, followed a group of Southern California teenagers as they navigated the ups and downs of high school life, from romances to bad grades.

The series launched the careers of its stars Lauren "LC" Conrad, Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti and inspired three spinoff shows, The Hills, The City and The Hills: New Beginnings.

In the nearly 20 years since they walked the halls of Laguna Beach High School together, the cast has reunited a handful of times. The gang — which included Cavallari, Conrad, Colletti, Trey Phillips, Dieter Schmitz, Lo Bosworth, Talan Torriero, Morgan Smith and Christina Sinclair — got back together in partnership with #GoodToVote and HeadCount to promote voter registration ahead of the November 2020 presidential election.

In April 2023, Cavallari featured her former castmates in a nostalgic campaign video for her lifestyle brand, Uncommon James, in which she donned the black choker necklace she was known for wearing on the show.

In 2022 and 2023, Cavallari and Colletti have also hosted a Laguna Beach rewatch podcast, Back to the Beach with Kristin and Stephen, where they regularly feature fellow cast members as guests.

Ahead, discover what the cast of Laguna Beach has been up to since the MTV show aired.

After graduating from high school at the end of the first season of Laguna Beach, Lauren Conrad attended one semester of San Francisco's Academy of Art University before moving to Los Angeles.

There, she enrolled in the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising and landed an internship at Teen Vogue. Her budding fashion career and new life in L.A. was the premise behind her MTV spinoff, The Hills, which aired from 2006 to 2010, though Conrad left the series in 2009.

After retiring from reality TV, Conrad launched several business endeavors, including a former lifestyle blog, a successful women's clothing line with Kohl's and a now-discontinued makeup and skincare brand, Lauren Conrad Beauty.

From 2009 to 2013, the star also released a series of young adult novels; L.A. Candy and Sweet Little Lies both became New York Times bestsellers. In 2012, she wrote a beauty and style guide titled Lauren Conrad Beauty.

Currently, Conrad runs a fair trade online store, The Little Market, which she co-founded in 2013 with her college friend Hannah Skvarla, as well as a children's clothing line called Little Co. She also still designs clothing and accessories for Kohl's. In 2022, she launched her first fragrance, LOVED by Lauren Conrad.

Conrad married lawyer William Tell in 2014, and the couple have two sons together.

Cavallari founded the lifestyle brand Uncommon James in 2017, and the company has released accessories, homewares and beauty products. She has also written a autobiographical book, Balancing in Heels: My Journey to Health, Happiness, and Making It All Work, as well as three cookbooks.

In 2023, she reunited with her Laguna Beach castmates in a campaign for the brand's summer jewelry collection. She also hosts a Laguna Beach rewatch podcast, Back to the Beach with Kristin and Stephen, alongside Stephen Colletti.

In February 2024, Cavallari revealed her relationship with boyfriend Mark Estes, a former college football player who is part of a TikTok group named Montana Boyz.

The relationship started when Estes slid into Cavallari's DMs, accidentally using the Montana Boyz account: “I get a DM on Instagram from the Montana Boyz that just says ‘I love you.’ And I’m going, ‘Oh, my God!’ ” Cavallari recalled on her podcast. However, in September of 2024, Cavallari shared that the two had split.
