Khloé Kardashian Says Hearts 'Should Be Treasured, Not Broken' After Tristan Thompson Split

As Khloé Kardashian moves on from her turbulent relationship with Tristan Thompson, she’s expressing herself through emotional quotes on social media.

Kardashian, 34, posted two messages to her Instagram Story alluding to the breakup on Thursday night.

“What if I told you that every single thing that has happened to you has happened exactly as it was meant to?” one passage read. “I know there are cracks in your spirit from losses too great to name, and hurts from people who should have kept you safe. But those cracks created a warrior.”

The next quote said, in part, “Hearts like ours are special. They should be treasured, not broken.”

Thompson, 27, broke the reality star’s heart a few times over their nearly two-year relationship — most recently when he hooked up with family friend Jordyn Woods.

Last week, Woods, 21, shared her side of the story on Jada Pinkett Smith‘s Facebook Watch talk show, Red Table Talk, claiming Thompson kissed her at an afterparty at his house in February.

Kardashian initially slammed the model on Twitter and blamed her for breaking up her family. (She and Thompson share 11-month-old daughter True.)

A day later, she softened her tone, placing the blame instead on the professional basketball player, who was first caught allegedly cheating last April when photos and videos surfaced of him getting close to other women just days before Kardashian gave birth.

Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers power forward has been photographed spending time with model Karizma Ramirez.

A source recently told PEOPLE that Kardashian is struggling with how to include Thompson in True’s first birthday festivities next month.“She can’t see how he can be around her family at a party, though,” the source said. “Everyone is just too upset with him.”
