Jordyn Woods Celebrates Easter in Nigeria After Saying She'll 'Always' Love Kylie Jenner

When the Kardashian-Jenners and their famous circle of friends all convened at Coachella to kick off their Easter celebrations with Kanye West‘s Sunday Service, estranged family friend Jordyn Woods was nowhere to be found.

Woods, 21, celebrated the holiday with her mom Elizabeth in Lagos, Nigeria.

“Happy Easter from me and @jordynwoods from Lagos, Nigeria,” Elizabeth captioned a slideshow of photos of the two on Instagram.

As she attempts to put the Tristan Thompson cheating scandal behind her, Woods — Kylie Jenner‘s former best friend — has steadily been reemerging into the public eye. She even attended the first weekend of Coachella earlier this month but couldn’t avoid an “awkward” encounter with Kendall Jenner, an onlooker revealed to PEOPLE.

Reports of Woods and Thompson’s tryst first surfaced in February. On March 1, Woods shared her side of the story in a tell-all interview, claiming that the father of Khloé Kardashian‘s child kissed her at an afterparty at his house on Feb. 17. Though she adamantly denied having sex with him, she admitted that the next day, while she told Kylie, 21, and Kardashian, 34, that she had been at Thompson’s house, she didn’t disclose what had happened between them.

Kardashian slammed Woods on Twitter after the interview, blaming her for breaking up her family, but she softened her tone a day later and placed the fault instead on Thompson, 28.

“This has been an awful week & I know everyone is sick of hearing about it all (as am I). I’m a rollercoaster of emotions & have said things I shouldn’t have,” she tweeted on March 2. “Honestly, Tristan cheating on me & humiliating me, wasn’t such a shock as the first time.”

“What’s been harder & more painful is being hurt by someone so close to me,” she admitted. “Someone whom I love & treat like a little sister. But Jordyn is not to be blamed for the breakup of my family. This was Tristan’s fault. I have to move on with my life & count my blessings, my family, my health, & my beautiful baby True.”

Woods, who had to move out of Kylie’s house, remains estranged from the family, and a source recently told PEOPLE that Woods and Kylie have had limited contact.

“It’s still a tricky situation for Kylie. And no one is actually putting too much pressure on her,” the source said. “Her family is aware that she is in contact with Jordyn. They are letting Kylie figure things out for herself.”

Last week, Woods was stopped by TMZ while arriving at LAX with her mom. After taking a couple of photos with fans and signing a few autographs, Woods briefly touched on the rift between her and the famous family.

When asked if she was grateful for the support she has received from Will and Jada Pinkett Smith‘s family, Woods told paparazzi, “Honestly, the whole world’s support is amazing.”

As for whether she still has affection for Kylie?

“Always. I love Kylie, always,” she said.

Elizabeth chimed in at the end of the video, telling the cameras, “We love you, Kylie.”
