Although I have a sweet tooth, I try to keep a clean diet. The other secret is I drink a lot of water, about 1.5 gallons per day When do you feel your sexiest? In the shower. What do you love to do when you’re not working? Spending time with kids, Kitty and Billy, and my dog, Dash, creating some sort of memories. My motto in life is to die with memories not dreams. I feel my sexiest when I’m well rested and rejuvenated. There’s nothing better than a solid nights' sleep. What do you love to do when you’re not working? I LOVE spending time at home with my dogs Noni and Brixton. I also love traveling without a work bag. Follow Larry here. 03 of 12 Makeup Artist Daniel Martin Makeup artist Daniel Martin. When I'm not working, you'll find me at The Metropolitan Museum (it's a 15-minute walk across Central Park from my apartment in New York City) or donating my time to Callen-Lorde, the non-profit LGBTQ+ community healthcare facility in NYC where I serve on their Leadership Council. I started working as an apprentice in a hair salon at age 15 in France. What are your top tips for staying sexy? Taking care of my skin is very important to me. In the morning, I love using Supergoop Everyday Moisturizer SPF 50 and Lancome Advanced Génifique cream. At night, I wear a SiO Beauty face patch, which is amazing at hydrating and plumping my skin. A ritual that is a daily must, especially in the winter, is an evening bath. I infuse the bath with Laura Mercier Neroli bath oil and light a candle from Westman Atelier (Healing Wood). It helps me relax after a long day and takes me to another place — like a mini vacation without leaving my apartment! When do you feel your sexiest? To be completely honest, I don’t think of myself as being sexy, but I am beyond flattered if other people do. I suppose sex appeal is in the eyes of the beholder. I do feel great after completing a challenging workout, having a productive day at work, and laughing with my best friends. What do you love to do when you’re not working? In my down time, I love immersing myself in a good book, exploring a new museum exhibit, enjoying a great movie or TV series and ending the day with a delicious meal shared with friends and family. 05 of 12 Hairstylist Adir Abergel Hairstylist Adir Abergel. Abby Lee Celebrity clients: Nicole Kidman, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Biel How long have you been doing hair? I fell in love with hair when I was 10 years old by applying box hair color to all my mother’s friends. That ultimately led me on the journey to styling hair professionally and at 15 years old, I started assisting my incredible mentor Arthur Johns. It's been more than 32 years of doing what I love everyday, which is empowering women to feeling their most confident. What are your top tips for staying sexy? Hair is a big factor when wanting to feel sexy; I get regular haircuts and do treatments to keep my hair healthy. Lately, I have been obsessed with doing weekly treatments with Virtue Flourish Mask for Thinning Hair. I also get facials with Melanie Grant who is a skin goddess and I workout at least 3-4 days a week. When do you feel your sexiest? I feel my sexiest when Heather Pepe does my makeup and when I am vacationing in Hawaii with very little clothes. What do you love to do when you’re not working? Staying home; watching documentaries (I recently watched an amazing one on Elizabeth Taylor), cuddling with my dogs, preparing a delicious meal for my husband and thinking about creating new products that help women feel their most beautiful. I started working at the makeup counter at Saks Fifth Avenue when I was 17. What are your top tips for staying sexy? Working out regularly keeps me feeling great. I use the stair-master at Equinox for 40-45 minutes to help give me clarity while getting in my cardio. I love to pamper my skin with skincare and tools. Some of my favorite skincare products currently are from Paula’s Choice. I rotate my facial tools from Dr. Dennis Gross and FaceGym. Around my eyes, I use the Solawave eye mask paired with Lumify redness relieving eye drops. You would be surprised how much younger and fresher you can look after just those two things, especially with early call times and late red eye flights. When do you feel your sexiest? I'm very close to my family so when I’m around my loved ones I always feel like my best self. What do you love to do when you’re not working? Lately, I've been working on a little passion project called Backseat Beauties. It's a web series that I've just started filming that has become one of my favorite things to focus on because, while makeup is a part of it, I also get to interview people I respect and admire in the fashion, beauty, and entertainment worlds. I also have taken up beekeeping in the last year or so and am a dog dad, and both fill me with so much joy. Follow Vincent here. 07 of 12 Hairstylist Chris McMillan Hairstylist Chris McMillan. Chris McMillan Celebrity clients: Jennifer Aniston, Michelle Williams, Claudia Schiffer How long have you been doing hair? I’ve always had an opinion on hair since I was a kid, and I first cut my sister’s hair when I was 6 years old! I went to beauty school when I was 16 so I had my license to do hair before I even graduated high school. I’ve been doing hair ever since then and opened my salon (Chris McMillan The Salon) in 2002. What are your top tips for staying sexy? Eating well, working out, getting good sleep and drinking a lot of water. I have a sweet tooth like crazy, so less sugar is important, too (but if I do eat sugar, it’s going to be something really good, like a chocolate souffle at The Bel Air Hotel!). I also got sober in 1999 and to be honest, it has been the fountain of youth for me. When do you feel your sexiest? I feel sexiest when I’m taking the best care of myself, on my game and consistent with healthy eating, working out, lots of water and sleeping. What do you love to do when you’re not working? When I’m not working, I love to travel on my own terms. I love to go to the Dolomites in Italy, and my favorite place to go is Forestis, a sustainable hotel with saunas, ice cold plunges, long hikes and skiing in the winter. I also love Paris and going to museums. Musée d'Orsay is probably my favorite museum in the world, and I always love to revisit multiple times a year and have a different tour guide to get new perspectives each time. I’ve been working as a makeup artist for about 12 years now. Early on, after seeing the power of makeup and understanding how it made women feel confident and sexy, I knew it was my purpose. What are your top tips for staying sexy? I travel a lot, so, for me, staying sexy and looking good comes down to creating healthy habits that are easy to stick to. It’s easy to lose yourself after long work days, so taking care of myself is the key to staying sexy. Every night I love to indulge in a nighttime skin routine with a lot of serums and masks, plenty of rest when I can and taking mental breaks. I try to get in some form of workout as a way to relieve stress and feel good in my body, no matter where I’m traveling. Stick to stylish and comfortable wardrobe staples that make me feel confident, and walk with my head held high. Lastly, get a fragrance that compliments your style. When do you feel your sexiest? Feeling sexy is about tapping into your confidence and self-assuredness. I feel my sexiest when I’m out of my comfort zone, and have a stylish look together. What do you love to do when you’re not working? I’m an introverted extrovert, so when I’m not working I love to cook and paint! Sometimes, I’ll go into nature and set up my easel and paint how I’m feeling or what I’m thinking. It helps me escape and clear my mind. I also like to tap into the extrovert side by meeting new people and making new connections. Follow Keita here. 09 of 12 Hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos Hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos. Nicolas Gerardin Celebrity clients: Kim Kardashian, Joey King, Amal Clooney How long have you been doing hair? I started my career at a young age in Greece, attending beauty school at just 15. After 12 years of doing hair and makeup there, I moved to Hollywood and have been working across the U.S. and Europe since 2013. What are your top tips for staying sexy? To stay feeling my best, I focus on routines that keep me both happy and healthy. When you feel happy, you feel sexy! I train my body and mind, get plenty of good sleep. I never skip my spray tan (Quick Tan is my go-to) and I am on top of any grays that might pop up — for quick touch ups I use L’Oreal Paris Color Sonic — it’s super easy and then a finish off my look with a Garnier Fructis Power Puddy. When do you feel your sexiest? I feel my sexiest when the dress code calls for a tux — I think every man can feel more desirable in a well-fitted tuxedo. What do you love to do when you’re not working? When I’m off work, I love spending time with loved ones, enjoying great dinners and movies. Living by the coast keeps things interesting, offering endless options for activities. In Los Angeles, I like to hike or bike down to Venice Beach. In New York, I love walking around the city, especially Chinatown, where the fashion inspires me. And of course, I always make a stop at Kiki’s, my favorite Greek restaurant in Manhattan! These are the routines and practices that keep me feeling healthy, confident, and ready for anything. Follow Dimitris here. 10 of 12 Makeup Artist Joseph Carrillo Makeup artist Joseph Carrillo. Images Courtesty of Joseph Carrillo Celebrity clients: Naomi Osaka, Mariska Hargitay, Bethenny FrankelHow long have you been doing makeup and sculpting faces? I’ve been in the makeup game for over two decades now. (But if anyone asks I’m 32). My journey with makeup began as a passion, a way to transform faces and bring out what’s already beautiful. Sculpting faces changed the game. Once I discovered how much impact facial manipulation could have on symmetry I developed my signature The SELF Method (Sculptural Energetic Lifting Facial). What are your top tips for staying sexy? Rest is number one. Schedule time for yourself daily — it doesn’t have to be long, but it is crucial to remind yourself who you are and what you want. Create good small habits that build up over time. Be unapologetically yourself, I find that very sexy. And, of course, the most important my SELF Method techniques with my favorite oil, Living Liabations Seabuckthorn. When do you feel your sexiest? When I hit a goal. It can be weekly, monthly, or even daily to be honest, but accomplishing what I set out to do gives me a sense of power — and that definitely makes me feel very sexy. There’s just something about that sense of achievement, big or small, that lights me up. What do you love to do when you’re not working? I love learning. It could be cello lessons (yes, I play the cello), training myself to run the NYC marathon in under 95 days or diving into martial arts. My goal is to live a life worth living.
