In a first-look photo from the upcoming movie The Fabulous Four, Midler, 78, dons a wedding dress and veil and sits in a stagecoach while costars Susan Sarandon, 77, Megan Mullally, 65, and Sheryl Lee Ralph, 67, beam at the camera. The comedy "follows three lifelong friends who travel to Key West, Florida, to be bridesmaids in a surprise wedding of their college girlfriend Marilyn,” according to a synopsis. “Once there, sisterhoods are rekindled, the past rises up again in all its glory, and there are enough sparks, drinks and romance to change all their lives in ways they never expected," the synopsis adds. Sissy Spacek was originally part of the cast but was later replaced by Ralph, who won the Emmy Award for outstanding supporting actress in a comedy series in 2022 for her work on the ABC show Abbott Elementary. Mullally became a household name for playing boozy, sharp-tongued Karen Walker on NBC’s Will & Grace (for which she won two Emmys).
