Tarek El Moussa Jokes Wife Heather Was Added to His Ex Christina Haack's 'Blocked' List After Call Doesn't Go Through

Looks like Heather El Moussa might be joining her husband Tarek on his ex’s blocked list!

In a hilarious video shared by Tarek on Wednesday, Oct. 16, The Flipping El Moussas star, 43, is sitting with his current wife Heather, 37, at their office. The pair are trying to reach his ex-wife Christina Haack, 41, on the phone, perhaps to discuss their upcoming HGTV show The Flip Off. 

“Let’s call her, see where she’s at and go meet her,” Heather says, referring to Christina. Tarek then gives his ex a call but immediately gets an automated message that says, "Your call did not go through."

“Blocked! She blocked you,” Heather says with a laugh, to which Tarek responds, “Again? Again? What is this s—?”

As his wife then tries to give Christina a call from her phone, she begs, “Please go through, please go through, please go through,” only to be met with the same automated message.

“Blocked your a— too,” Tarek says as he points to his wife. “She didn’t block me!” Heather argues back. 

Though Tarek claims Heather was “added to the ‘blocked’ ex husband list” in the caption, Christina sets the record straight in the comments.

“Hmm.. I would never block Heather,” she wrote.

The video was a “part 2” of another spoof all three HGTV stars had shared in September. 

In that clip, Tarek finds himself in a similar situation when his call to his ex-wife doesn’t go through. 

“She blocked you!” Heather teases again, to which Tarek replies, “Yeah, not the first time." 

However, when the Selling Sunset alum calls, Christina picks up.

Alongside the clip, the caption reads, “Tarek gets ‘disconnected’ and Heather gets ‘accepted’. Welcome to our modern family!”

HGTV announced news of The Flip Off back in May and said it’s slated to premiere in early 2025. Since then, the three home renovation stars have been posting various over-the-top skits to promote their upcoming series.

Christina’s estranged husband of nearly three years Josh Hall, 43, was originally set to star in the show before he filed for divorce on July 15, citing "irreconcilable differences," according to the filing obtained by PEOPLE at the time.

Though HGTV has yet to officially address Josh’s involvement in the series post split, Christina has been spotted filming the show without him and multiple sources told PEOPLE that The Flip Off had resumed filming. Christina, Tarek and Heather have also continued to post new promos for the series without Josh.

Tarek and Christina split in 2016 after seven years of marriage and were first costars on HGTV’s Flip or Flop. They share daughter Taylor, 14, and son Brayden, 9. Christina is also a mom to son Hudson, 5, whom she shares with her second husband Ant Anstead. Tarek and Heather welcomed a son, Tristan, in 2023.
